(KINY) - The U.S. Senate unanimously passed a bipartisan resolution (S.Res. 148) led by Senators Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) and Brian Schatz (D-HI), Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs (SCIA) respectively, honoring the achievements of Alaska Native, American Indian, and Native Hawaiian women throughout the history of the United States.
