A Russellville man is in custody after state and local agents found more than $120,000 in drugs in Tuscumbia.
Hunter Reid Hulsey, 31, was arrested for trafficking in methamphetamine on Wednesday, and more charges are expected, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
A lengthy investigation into drug trafficking complaints lead to the discovery of about 2.5 pounds of methamphetamine, 5.5 pounds of marijuana, digital scales and drug packaging materials, according to a news release.

TUSCUMBIA, Ala. (WBRC) - ALEA State Troopers showed off the pounds of drugs they took off the streets in the Tuscumbia area.
Troopers said on April 7, 2021, after a lengthy and thorough investigation into drug trafficking complaints, ALEAâs Region E Drug Enforcement Task Force (DTF) obtained and served two search warrants.
The warrants were executed at a warehouse near Highway 72 and the other was at a storage locker at a facility near 6th Street.

Agents also found more than $8,000 in cash during the search.

A Florence man is in custody after authorities say they found more than five pounds of methamphetamine in his apartment.
Demarcus L. Robinson, 44, was arrested Tuesday and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, according to a news release from the Alabama State Bureau of Investigation.
A search warrant was obtained after the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Region E Drug Enforcement Task Force conducted a narcotic trafficking investigation in northwest Alabama.
