Minister Martin provides €500,000 to the National Gallery of Ireland for acquisitions to the National Collection
 
Minister Martin today announced the provision of €500,000 in capital funding to support the National Gallery of Ireland acquisitions programme for 2020. This support has enabled the National Gallery of Ireland to acquire a number of important works for the national collection, and to secure further acquisitions in the coming weeks. The works cover the full range of the Gallery’s holdings in Irish and international art. This includes old masters and more recent art, and art made in different media, including photography, which is a new focus for the Gallery. ....
