The eligibility to get your second COVID-19 vaccination shot is dropping again.
As of Thursday, those 55 and over can get a shot. This also includes anyone who received their first vaccination on or before April 7. That date had originally been March 29.
People who have been diagnosed with or are being treated for cancer and those who have received solid organ transplants will receive a letter of eligibility in the mail that will give them priority access to a second dose.
Those who got Pfizer or Moderna with their first shot should get that brand with their second shot. Those who received AstraZeneca with their first shot can get that with their second shot, but they can also opt for Pfizer or Moderna.
