In the heart of Downtown St. Louis, notable individuals gathered for the 4th Annual Give Black Ball, an event dedicated to recognizing and honoring impactful organizations that have significantly contributed to the city. The spotlight shone on two outstanding black-owned entities.
Due to rain, the sold out STL Fest was moved from Saturday, May 21, to Sunday, May 22, which seemed just fine with fans. A large crowd still turned out at the Big Top at Grand Center for the block party, where people played corn hole, supported black-owned businesses and food trucks, enjoyed a VIP car show and saw performers such as Supafly Todd, Kia Monger and Lynita Renae. At 5 p.m., the concert started in earnest with acts such as Reggie Son (a.k.a. Shorty Da Prince), Lydia Caesar, Dakota Pagan, Roxx, Nikee Turbo and others. All hosted by Kelocc G and Comedian Willie C. Photos by Carlos Medoza
