When price first made his may day call, radar records show the plane was going 250 niles an hour miles an hour. The plane rapidly descended and thats when price lost control. Crews spent much of the weekend searching for debris and found the site. An extensive ground search was conducted by the Kern County Sheriffs office, the Bakersfield Police department, the california Highway Patrol as well as the kern county Fire Department.
