Voting, we have to weigh those risks. Absolutely. And at least the agreement in front of me limits the risk. It is a completely unlimited risk. You may be right. They wont do that. What if youre wrong. What if in fact they will. There is a hard line as you pointed out in teheran. They are licking their chops to see this agreements falling apart. I think from all of the elements in iran they want this agreement because it is so good for them economically and it strengthens their position in the middle east. Doesnt do anything to stop them from supporting and in fact it helps them support their proxies throughout the region more than now. I want to agree with you that i cant predict whatll happen. I cant predict with certainty anymore than anybody can whatll happen if Congress Rejects the agreement. I can just say from what i have seen this morning and based on what i saw come out of lozan in april, this disagreement has more risk ....
There will be at this eightyear period though, modifications to other parts of the Security Council infrastructure and other legal instruments, including the United States and e. U. These primarily deal with proliferation related items and potential sources of concern. Its notable though, that if you look at the text, whats put in is not iran will get to incorporate whatever import whatever it wants to import from whoever it wants to import. Rather, from the u. S. Perspective, iran will be treated like anybody else. Which means theyre subject to export controls and could still be subject to u. S. Sanctions if we find things we have concerns about. Thats basically it. The iranians dont get anything until they implement their nuclear obligations. That will take between four to six months after the 90day period. Nothing april until april of 2016. The question is is, whats left ....
[applause] investing in our communities makes sense. It saves taxpayer money if we are consistent about it. And if we recognize that every child deserves opportunity, not just some, not just our own. [applause] what does not make sense is treating entire neighborhoods is little more than danger zones where we just surround them. We asked police to go in there and do the tough job of trying to contain the hopelessness when we are not willing to make the investment to help lift those communities out of hopelessness. That is not just a police problem. That is a societal problem. [applause] places like west philly or west baltimore or ferguson, missouri. They are part of america, too. They are not separate. They are part of america like anywhere else. The kids there are american kids. Its like your kids and my kids. Weve got to make sure boys and girls in those communities are loved and cherished and supported and nurtured and invested in and we have to have the same standards for those ch ....
With congress back we looked at what theyll be working on it, entering coming weeks. This is one hour. Any days a good day to have bob with us but especially as Congress Returns from its august recess. Of busy fall agenda. Childhoo well start with the announcement today on the deferred action for childhood arrivals program. T we expect that at 11. We expect the president to say hill and that program with a sixmonth delay. How do you expect that to go over on capitol hill . It will be really difficultve to pass any type of gmac, even a conservative to. Years ago john boehner, then speaker had a secret group of bipartisan members trying to get some type of deal. They met on and off for over a year, could not come up with a solution that could pass the house. The dream act when president obama did pass the house if fewer than ten republicans supported and they couldnt get the 60 votes in the senate which led to the daca program. So ....
