around 11 to 16 degrees. a tiny bit above where they should be, and not bad after the chilly start. overnight two areas of rain and in areas we don t need it, lancashire east midlands and south yorkshire. another pulse pushes up from the south west. with the cloud and rain around it will be a relatively mild start, but it will be a nuisance first thing tomorrow morning. not heavy and persistent rain, but some relentless showers in the east midlands and into yorkshire. that could just exacerbate the issues we have got here with localised flooding. you need to keep an eye on that. a better story across england and wales, sunny spells and a few scattered showers. a better story for most of scotland and northern ireland, dry and settle. 11 to 12 degrees. the high is 16, 60 one fahrenheit. as we move into wednesday and at the ridge of high pressure keeps things quiet to begin with, but not for long. low pressure was set to return and dominate the story as we head into the weekend.
