Coming of Age Wrinkles, hip replacements, death, memory loss – who ever thought these would be fun topics for a play? Longtime Southern Humboldt theater artists present “Coming of Age, the Sequel, Reflections on Growing Even Older” on January 26, 27 and 28 at the Redwood Playhouse in Garberville. The artists have updated their original “Coming of Age” play 17 years later with humor, music, and dance, knowing even more about what it means to grow old. There is comedy as well as poignant stories of loss and elder wisdom. Doors open on Friday at 6:30, on Saturday and Sunday at 1:30. Tickets are $12 to $15 sliding scale. For folks of all ages except children.
