Patrick Lundy is the fourth-generation co-owner of Luncrest Farm, which recently doubled its herd size by purchasing 200 cows from a nearby dairy in Hartford, Washington County, N.Y. The Lundys plan to construct a new barn and milking facilities that will allow them to put the milking herd at one site, while continuing to rent space at the neighboring farm where heifers will be raised.
