Redruth Town Council is planning on holding a virtual and interactive St Piran s day celebration in light of lockdown restrictions resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic.
Following government restrictions, the celebration will be held mainly on Redruth Town Council s Facebook page and will include interactive activities and videos of Redruth past and present.
The activities available on the day will include colouring sheets of the town mascot, Tolgus, as well as crosswords and word-searches that will be downloadable from the Facebook page.
Lara McShee, Community Project Manager, said: We re just trying to keep the community connected with stuff that we re doing, with our heritage and history, and celebrating the day for Cornish and non-Cornish people. ....
