The gang, who all have their faces covered with motorcycle helmets, tried to steal the scooter from a quiet residential street in Earlsfield, south west London, last night.
The shameless theft took place on Redchurch Street in Shoreditch, east London, yesterday morning. Witnesses watch on as sparks fly from the metal lock.
