At a grand opening event on Friday, around 50 community members congregated for a morning of speeches, food, meet-ups with teachers and tours of the temporary school building.
Representatives of the Red Lake Tribal Council, along with other members of the Red Lake government, met with the Bemidji City Council in a joint session on Monday, April 11.
Spirits were high Monday morning as around 50 members of the Red Lake community, tribal council and state politicians took part in the groundbreaking of the Endazhi-Nitaawiging charter school set to open in Red Lake in fall 2022.
