Australia’s star-studded women’s 4x100m freestyle relay team has won gold in world record time.
Bronte Campbell, Meg Harris, Emma McKeon and Cate Campbell dominated the field to win Australia’s first gold medal at the Tokyo Games.
“I could not be prouder of these girls,” Cate Campbell said post-race.
“It’s been a tough ask for everyone to get here and to come away with the win and the world record, we obviously couldn’t have asked for any better.”
