Roadways this morning. They just cleared a crash that westbound 580. The bad news is were seeing some residual slowing. Of course east of there weve got the usual slow and go conditions as you head out of tracy into the liver more valley area. So the delays between mount house and grant line are in full effect. Some spots as far as your speeds go. Your drive time on 680 southbound. About 24 minutes. Im Katie Neilson at the live news desk happening right now in oakland. The homeless mothers who took over a vacant house on magnolia street are currently being evicted by the Alameda County Sheriffs Department. They wanted to draw attention to the homeless crisis thats happening around the bay area. They took over that house and have been living there since november. Those women went to court asking a judge to be allowed to stay but on friday the judge ordered the women to be evicted within 5 days. The Sheriffs Department there right now with deputies. We just saw some of them in handcuffs.

Around 1 00 in the morning, she called me again and said that there were great concerns. There were concerns up the street, and she said i needed to come home immediately. Get on the next plane to the u. S. And i asked her why, and she said she wasnt sure, but there were concerns about my security. I asked her, my physical security . Because sometimes washington knows more than we do about these things, and she said, no. She hadnt gotten that impression that it was a physical security issue, but they were concerned about my security and i needed to come home right away. You know, i argued. This is extremely irregular, and and no reason given, but in the end, i did get on the next plane home. You said there were concerns up the street. What did you understand that to mean .
