Noel Gallagher Announced As Ambassador For Record Store Day Wednesday, 05 May 2021 Noel Gallagher is the official ambassador for this year s Record Store Day. The former Oasis guitarist follows in the footsteps of Slaves, Anton Newcombe of the Brian Jonestown Massacre, Kate Tempest, Kate Nash, Izzy Bizu, Rag n Bone Man, the Mighty Boosh, and The Big Moon, who championed the event in 2020. I think if we can keep record shops open for as long as possible, we owe it to the young people of this country. For this year’s Record Store Day I’ll be getting involved.
