Giving Deadline For Collection Of Permanent Voters Card Is Disenfranchisement Of Nigerians – Civil Societies Warn INEC

A coalition of non-governmental and human right organisations has described the emphasis on a deadline for collection of Permanent Voters Card (PVCs) as an indirect disenfranchisement of validly registered voters whose PVCs are not available. The unavailability of the PVCs, according to the coalition, was due to administrative lapses from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
