SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Officers from the South Lake Tahoe Police Department (SLTPD) had a busy weekend with the arrest of three people in two separate investigations.
In an incident Sunday, at 11:56 a.m. officers responded to a report of suspicious people going in and out of a South Lake Tahoe home. A neighbor called the homeowners who live out of the area and found that nobody was permitted to be at the home, which is not a vacation home rental. Upon arrival officers saw a window smashed out in order for someone to reach the front door latch. They announced themselves, calling out to anyone who might be in the home. Officers said nobody responded but they could hear people fleeing upstairs.
