A first step in the recall of Windsor Mayor Dominic Foppoli is expected to occur this morning.
The Recall Foppoli campaign is expected to file a “notice of intent” for the push to recall Mayor Foppoli with the Windsor Town Clerk. Once filed, Mayor Foppoli will have 7 days to respond after which the campaign will prepare a petition for circulation that likely won’t be ready for signing until mid-May. At that point, the campaign will have 120 days to gather signatures from 20% of Windsor’s 16,879 registered voters. Mayor Dominic Foppoli has been accused of sexual assault by multiple women.
