The Napoleon School Board of Education got updates on construction projects, staffing, and federal Cares-Act dollars coming to the district, during their meeting Wednesday night. The paving projects for the parking lots at Buckenmeyer Stadium, and the expansion of the elementary school lot are winding down, with some seeding and striping to be completed. And sidewalks have been installed along Westmoreland Avenue, with no parking allowed along that road. The Napoleon administration thanked the custodial staff for their hard work during the summer, getting the buildings ready for a new school year. Napoleon Schools are seeking input from the public, as they will be receiving 3.5 million dollars in federal funds to respond to the pandemic. These projects have restrictions to include help for students in catching-up on subjects, and improving HVAC systems.
