Expanded-and-remodeled house brings $12.7M at 273 Tangier Ave. in Palm Beach

Ronald J. and Judith Ripka Berk have sold, for a recorded $12.7 million, the 1950s-era house they extensively renovated and expanded at 273 Tangier Ave. on the North End of Palm Beach.
The six-bedroom house with about 8,000 square feet of living space, inside and out was bought by Gretchen S. Jordan, who acted as trustee of a trust in her name, the deed recorded Wednesday shows.
House at 211 Ocean Terrace sold after less than seven weeks on the market.

A just-completed house at 211 Ocean Terrace in Palm Beach changed hands for a recorded $7.44 million after spending just a little more than six weeks on the market, according to the multiple listing service.
Jeffrey and Lisa Volling bought the four-bedroom house with 4,968 square feet of living space, inside and out, on the North End of Palm Beach. The sale closed Nov. 25, according to the Palm Beach Board of Realtors Multiple Listing Service, and the deed was recorded Dec. 2.
Jeffrey Volling is a principal and investment officer with Bessemer Investors in New York City.
