A conspiracy theory circulated online saying President-elect Joe Biden has been using a body double for certain public events.
The theory on a body double was prominent during Biden s 2020 campaign against incumbent President Donald Trump and the transition process.
One of the most noticeable claims focused on Biden s earlobes and said one Joe Biden had an attached earlobe while the other s was detached.
Scientists from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) endorsed biotech company Moderna s COVID-19 vaccine for emergency use on Tuesday.
According to Stat News, FDA scientists found that Moderna s vaccine is safe and effective a day after the company s competitor Pfizer started shipments across the U.S.
The agency s experts were upbeat about Moderna s shot and said there were no specific safety concerns identified. They also confirmed the vaccine s efficacy of 94.1 percent, reported CBS News.
A panel of outside experts will also examine the vaccine s data on Thursday, with a final approval decision shortly after.
The FDA endorsement is one step towards formal clearance for the vaccine to be administered to the public, which will likely happen next week, reported CNBC.

A social media post said a federal law would require a COVID-19 vaccination for all, but the claim is not true.
The Facebook post made in December claimed if all goes well , federal law can make people have a COVID-19 vaccination mandatory.
The post specifically targeted the COVID-19 vaccination effort of biotech company Moderna and said people were being conditioned and controlled.
But Politifact said in its analysis that this claim is not true.
Facebook also flagged claims of a federal law that could mandate a COVID-19 vaccination was false information.
