I think i have one of the unique opportunities to serve as a political appointee for all the years of president reagan at the department of education and i was very young man at the time but i really was very much a disciple of president reagan and i just love the fact that he was the governor and brought metal of governorship into his role as president and i also had the blessing to be the head of the Transition Team on the way out in 1992 and the Transition Team on the way in in 2000. The strength of the military is in the military family structure, and what this does is allow the family to either move early or stay longer at these assignments. Normally they are two to threeyear assignments. Lots can happen in two or three years, but not Everything Else just perfectly works out in two or three years.
