A story through the park


 Local educators are finding innovative ways to take their students on field trips during a pandemic.
 World of Wonder Ellen Street Campus created a StoryWalk® for the students, which consists of laminated pages from a children’s book installed along an outdoor path.
 On Wednesday, Feb. 3, all of the Young 5 students at the school took a walk through Rackham Park behind the Fenton Community and Cultural Center where 35 posters are set up. On these posters are pages from the photographic children’s book, “The First Snow in the Woods” by Carl R. Sams II and Jean Stoick, Michigan award-winning authors, photographers and filmmakers. ....
