One of two men sought by investigators for allegedly robbing a couple at gunpoint in Woodbridge earlier this month was arrested Tuesday, officials said.
Razzell Austin, 21, of Avenel, was arrested on more than half a dozen charges, including two counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault and two counts of first-degree armed robbery, according to a joint statement from the Woodbridge Police and the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office. WOODBRIDGE, NJ A Woodbridge Township man has now been arrested for the aggravated sex assault of a woman and armed robbery of a man, which police say occurred Friday night, April 16.
Razzell Austin, 21, of Avenel was arrested by members of the Woodbridge Police Department, the Carteret Police Department, and the Middlesex County Prosecutor s Office on Tuesday of this week.
One of two suspects identified in aggravated sexual assault, kidnapping in Port Reading
A Woodbridge man has been charged in the aggravated sexual assault of an adult female and armed robbery of an adult male, which occurred on April 16 in the Port Reading section of town.
On April 27, Razzell Austin, 21, of the Avenel section of Woodbridge, was apprehended in Avenel by members of the Woodbridge Police Department, the Carteret Police Department, and the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office, according to information provided by Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Director Robert Hubner of the Woodbridge Police Department on April 28.

Razzell Austin, 21, was arrested in the Avenel section a day after the prosecutor s office released sketches of the people they say are responsible for the April 16 incident in the area of Lee Street and Scott Place in the Port Reading section.
The other man has not been arrested. He is described as slim, between 5 foot 5 inches and 5 foot 9 inches with brown hair and brown eyes wearing a gray Nike hoodie and white Nike sneakers at the time of the assault.
