Mix and mash: Mise Freshin , St Patrick s Day on RTÉ Radio One

Nuashonraithe / Dé Luain, 8 Márta 2021 10:47 Ray Cuddihy writes about his upcoming show on RTÉ Radio One for Lá le Pádraig at 4pm, Mise FRESHIN which he describes as a mix and mash of traditional Irish music, Irish folk music and Irish hip hop. People who know me will have heard this story. It occurred to me as a young man. I was clumsily manoeuvring a slate-grey diesel family car around junctions on the outskirts of Mallow, County Cork. And nothing embodies this deep personal rapture like the music blasting from the car radio.
