Five people are due to appear in court this morning in connection with an incident in Mahon at the weekend where a shot was discharged.

Gardaí responded to reports of a disturbance in the Ravensdale Close area of Mahon on Sunday evening.
A shot was discharged at approximately 5.15pm at the location.
No injuries were reported.
Three vehicles were also searched.
A number of weapons were seized and a total of nine people were arrested. ....

Four men and a woman due to appear at Cork District Court after a shot was fired in Mahon on Sunday
No one was injured during the incident.
Gardaí carried out follow-up raids at two homes and three cars were searched.
A number of weapons were found and four men, four women and a teenage boy were arrested.
The teenage boy and one woman have since been released, while two other women are due to appear in court again next month.

Five charged as part of feud investigation
Four men have been remanded in custody and a woman has been released on bail after they were charged by gardai investigating an incident where a shot was fired during a feud between two families in Cork.
Three members of the Keenan family, Chantelle Keenan (20), Jim Keenan (22) both of Ravensdale Close, Mahon and Michael Keenan (37) of St Michael’s Close, Mahon were all charged when they appeared at Cork District Court.
All three were charged with possession of various offensive weapons at the Mahon Flyover in Mahon in Cork on May 9
th, contrary to Section 9 of the Firearms and Offensive Weapons Act 1990. ....
