Updated Wednesday, 28th April 2021, 11:20 am Seven day interval figures for April 17 to April 23, 2021, show the borough had a case rate of 24.6 per 100,000 people with 52 cases in that period, a fall of 26 per cent on the previous seven day period. Triages – the number of calls from people who think they may have coronavirus to the various NHS lines – were also down by a similar amount with 96 triages, a fall of 24 per cent on the previous period, a rate of 45 per 100,000 people. Calderdale’s Director of Public Health, Debs Harkins, urges people to keep following guidelines including social distancing and mask-wearing when outdoors, to help keep case rates down. ....
