SAN ANGELO  A San Angelo woman has been arrested nearly a month after a northside shooting was labeled as self-defense, according to an arrest affidavit released Friday.
About 2:30 p.m. Feb. 9, 2021, police responded to a homicide at the Cheyenne Crossing Apartments at 17 W. 31st St. Officers found Roy Perez Sr., 51, in the parking lot with a gunshot wound. He was transported to Shannon Medical Center but died from his injuries, records state.
Nearly a month later on Thursday, March 5, police arrested Sydney Rashelle Kennon, 23, on suspicion of murder in Perez s death. She remained in Tom Green County Detention Center in lieu of a $300,000 bond as of 11:45 a.m. Friday, according to online jail records. ....
