The Raquette Valley Fish and Game Club recently awarded Mary Long a plaque for her many years of service to the club.
In her words she became active with the club prior to her marriage to Ed Long almost 52 years ago. Both her and her husband, who passed away a few years ago, held many positions in the club. Together that is over 100 years of service between her and her spouse.
Mary was the club treasurer until this January when she stepped down to spend more time with her grandchildren. Mary was always the first one at any club event, the smile that met you at the door and words of knowledge that we will still cherish.
