FREDERICKSBURG, VA People in their 60s lead age groups in Stafford County and Fredericksburg for receiving the COVID-19 vaccine at the start of March, according to new data.
The Virginia Department of Health recently added vaccine demographics data, showing vaccine doses given by age group and racial or ethnic group. But while age data is available for all vaccine doses, race and ethnicity data is missing for 467,850 people with at least one dose statewide.
Among age groups in Stafford and Fredericksburg, people in their 60s account for 4,335 people with at least one dose. The 70s and 50s age groups follow with 4,200 and 3,912 vaccinations respectively. The 50s age group leads the way for fully vaccinated people with 2,204 individuals who have received both vaccine doses.
