Barnet Borough Times details plans to introduce a temporary one-way system while works take place, while other roads will be affected by closures. The temporary one-way system is due to be introduced in East Barnet Road at 8am on Saturday, April 17. The work will only be carried out on two weekends – April 17 and 18, and April 24 and 25 – and access for residents and businesses will be maintained at all times. The one-way will be in place on East Barnet Road, between its junctions with Longmore Avenue and Cat Hill, in both directions.

Photo: Google Street View Traffic using a number of roads in the Barnet area is set to be disrupted by temporary closures due to roadworks next month. Notices from the London Borough of Barnet in this week’s edition of the Barnet Borough Times detail several different roads that are due to be affected by the works in March. Vehicles will be unable to enter, exit or proceed on Hendon Way at its junction with the Vale from 9pm on Monday, with the order effective until 5am on March 31, to allow for speed camera installation and resurfacing works.
