Share The Nigerian Army on Monday said that troops of “Operation Hadin Kai,” have thwarted a fresh attempt by the Boko Haram terrorists to infiltrate and takeover Rann Town, the capital of Kala Balge Local Government Area of Borno State. This was contained in a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja by the Spokesperson of the Nigeria Army, Brig-Gen Mohammed Yerima. He stated that terrorists on Saturday, May 1, 2021, attempted to disrupt the peace that has been enjoyed by the border town but were engaged in a firefight that lasted about an hour.
