Our Correspondent Diphu, Aug 7 (EMN): The Assam University Diphu Campus Students Union (AUDCSU) has condemned the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Assam for uploading a post on their Facebook ‘ABVP Assam,’ regarding the recently concluded AUDCSU election. The ABVP Assam unit in the post claimed that all the major posts in recent Assam University Diphu Campus election was won by ABVP including the president, general secretary and cultural secretary. Addressing a press conference held at Cafeteria Restaurant on August 6, AUDCSU president, Sarhabe Kro, clarified that AUDCSU did not contest the election under any banner and that the union “strongly condemns” the unethical post on Facebook, which claimed that the elected members of AUDCSU were members of ABVP. “AUDCSU assures that they will always work for the betterment, unity, and integrity of the campus and assured that no external forces will be allowed to enter the campus.
