Its going to take a bit of patience. Sentence not until 6 44, have you noticed how later they are each day . A little fog but on the north shore, visibility under a quarter of a mile. So do watch out for those are a lot of clouds, in the 50s but getting off the bus this afternoon there you go. Up into the 60s. Maybe a few breaks of sunshine. Weve been stuck in the 50s. We still have this low to the west and one piece of energy will rotate around it. Although the clouds try to thin out, during the afternoon inland, especially Worcester County and southern new see the showers. Well go through the day with that southwesterly breeze bringing more humid air and pushing up the temperatures. So 65 in boston. Look at the suburbs holding mostly in the 60s overnight. Mid 60s in the cape. A few spots in northern Worcester County have dropped to the 50s. High pressure in the south and east, giving the southwesterly wind flow. By 9 00 this morning, lower 70s, low 80s by lunchtime, well top out in the mid 80s this afternoon. As we get deeper into the afternoon, that storm threat is increasing. By about 3 00, 4 00, storms north and west of worcester, but they are closing in on boston between 5 00 and 6 00 p. M. A lot of this shifting through southeast New Hampshire. We did have rain on the north shore. A lot of that is to the north from portsmouth to manchester. Orange, you can see heavy downpours and lightning in the area as well. That will continue to be a possibility throughout the day as we have a stalledout slow moving frontal boundary. This will slowly shift eastward and bring rain off to the northwest right now farther eastward as the day wears on. Moisture left over from what was julia feeding into this system as well. Theres a lot of fog north and west of the city. 60s to near 70 degrees. Its a warm start. Were looking at a couple of showers focused along the south coast, cape and islands. Theyre going to stay in this area for the next several hours. This is a stalled frontal boundary focusing some of the showers. If youre looking for less humid air, it is way back here.
