Dozens of New York police officers crowed into a Brooklyn court room Tuesday to get a look at accused cop killer Randy Popper Jones, who is accused of killing a young police officer last month.
Randy "Popper" Jones had a string of prior arrests dating to 2008 when his shooting victim, Officer Adeed Fayaz was just 12 years old and dreaming of being a cop.
“Adeed was always happiest when talking about his children,” said Fayaz’ commanding officer, Jason Hagestad. “Adeed always had a positive attitude. He was always smiling. He was always confident. He was the go-to guy for any questions on patrol.”
