A man has been taken into custody after police said he threatened a family member and then was involved in a brief stand off with officers in Bristol on Saturday morning.
Officers responded to a home on Pleasant Street around 9 a.m. after getting a report of a disturbance. Investigators said a man, later identified as 48-year-old Randy Miner, had threatened a family member.
The family member who was threatened was able to flee to safety, authorities said, and Miner barricaded himself within the home.
