RANAU: A four -wheel drive driver died after his vehicle skidded and overturned in Kampung Kologon, here, Wednesday morning. In the 9am incident, the victim, Amin Sarigol, 56, was confirmed dead at the scene and was reportedly trapped under the vehicle. A spokesman for the Ranau Fire and Rescue Chief, Ridwan Mohd Taib (pic) said they received a report of the incident at 9.13am before deploying 10 personnel and officers to the scene. ADVERTISEMENT Ranau Fire and Rescue Chief Ridwan Mohd Taib said, active campaigning by the department in spreading awareness to the public about the danger of fire hazards contributed to the slight decline. “The number of recorded cases in 2019 was 60.
