City Hall in Vallejo was shut down Wednesday afternoon, as students of a local charter school protested a recent decision to deny the school's permit for a new campus.
The motion, proposed by Peter Bregenzer, received majority votes by him, Vice Mayor Loera-Diaz, and Councilmembers Diosdado Matulac and Rozzana Verder-Aliga. The vote was made just after 1 a.m. on Wednesday morning. Prospective students in the audience shouted in disbelief.
