ADGP inaugurates basic training courses, pins rank to newly promoted officer

UDHAMPUR, May 8: ADGP Security J&K/Director Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy Dr SD Singh Jamwal inaugurated basic training courses of Probationer Assistant Directors Fire and Emergency Services and Probationer Sub-Inspectors who have recently reported in the Academy for undergoing their basic training courses.
Initially, Mohan Lal, SSP, Deputy Director (Outdoor/Indoor) introduced probationary trainees alongwith the educational profiles.
Dr SD Singh Jamwal in his inaugural address stressed upon for display of highest degree of discipline and observing of social distancing during their Outdoor and Indoor trainings in view of prevailing COVID-19 pandemic.

UDHAMPUR, Apr 16: Two days seminar on ‘Community Policing’ commenced in the Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy here.
The objectives of the seminar is to examine the elements of community policing–its importance, concept and implementation, to explore best practices in community policing, sharing personal experience with reference to community Policing and to identify steps to be taken for improving community policing. Nineteen officers of the rank SI to SSP participated in the seminar.
Sujit Kumar, DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range inaugurated the seminar.
