Several police personnel were injured and five of their vehicles were damaged in the violence that broke out at ITO during the farmers’ tractor parade in the national capital on Republic Day, according to an FIR registered regarding the incident. The FIR also claimed that six Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) buses and 70 iron barricades were damaged when over 10,000 protesting farmers on nearly 600 tractors stormed the area. Officials also said that 200 people have been detailed in relation with the incident. According to police, the detained people are being questioned.
