A pastor received the first $100 voucher of an initiative by the Tavua Duavata Crime Prevention Committee to get more people living in the Tavua/Vatukoula area vaccinated in a bid to protect community members from the virus.
The committee decided to utilise funds set aside for community programs as an incentive to get more people vaccinated.
According to Police, $500 was set aside by the committee and anyone who has received their vaccination at any of the vaccination sites in the area is eligible to win a $100 shopping voucher.
$100 shopping vouchers up for grabs for residents of Tavua and Vatukoula if they get vaccinated
