JAIPUR: The state cabinet meeting held on Thursday gave in-principle approval to reopen schools and other educational institutions, including coaching centres, from August 2 and decided to regularise recruitment of computer instructors in schools.
Earlier, the government had decided to recruit 10,453 computer instructors on a temporary basis which had invited protests by youth who recently met Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi in Delhi.
Education minister Govind Singh Dotasra told TOI that “all classes of schools and colleges will be opened from August 2 and an SOP will be issued separately”.
