Amid a surge in coronavirus cases, the Rajasthan government on Sunday issued new guidelines to curb the virus spread. The government has made RT-PCR test mandatory for people entering the state and those travelling outside.
According to the COVID-19 guidelines, cinema halls, theaters, multiplexes, amusement parks will be closed from April 5. Swimming pools, gyms will not be allowed to open.
The state government further said that excluding the takeaway and delivery services, restaurants should abide by the night curfew.

The drive was launched on January 16 with healthcare and sanitation workers being inoculated in the first phase.

KOTA: Teething troubles were witnessed at a few places in Rajasthan as the second phase of the nationwide COVID-19 vaccination drive began on Monday.
People aged above 60 and those between 45 and 59 who are suffering from comorbidities are eligible for vaccinations under the second phase of the drive.
