On top of that, in an assistant called in sick and one of the owners, gheblehshenas left for a doctors appointment leaving only her daughter home when the kids arrived. It stayed that way because gheblehshenas went to a second unlicensed daycare. They were running it out of her daughters house just two miles away. So fatizadeh led children into the backyard, prepped meals and when she went to check on them five minutes later she found the children in the pool. She and her brother, who was elsewhere in the house, tried to perform cpr but two of the kids died. Today a neighbor of the happy happy daycare says the center seemed busy with children being dropped off and picked up but he had nothing bad to say about the women who worked there. Deputy jumped into deep water to save another person who was also drowning, but that deputy drowned himself. Its not clear if the person he was trying to rescue also drowned.
