Two Ex-students of Enugu Federal College Bag Automatic Employment, Postgraduate Scholarship

Two ex-students of the Federal College of Dental Technology and Therapy, Enugu, Jane Akudinanwa Agbo, and Rahab Musa, were among 110 ex-corps members offered automatic employment into the Federal Civil Service yesterday in Abuja by President Muhammadu Buhari. A statement issued yesterday by the school’s Head of Public Relations, Mr. Omololu Ogunmade noted that the president also offered Agbo and Musa along with their 109 counterparts scholarships to pursue post-graduate studies up to the doctoral level in any university of their choice in Nigeria. While Agbo served in the Dental Centre of the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Zaria, Musa served in Taraba State and both of them distinguished themselves in excellent service delivery, bringing to bear the erudite skills inculcated in them by the College.

Buhari offers automatic employment, scholarships to ex-Corps members

By Johnbosco Agbakwuru – Abuja President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday announced an offer of automatic employment to 110 former members of National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, in the Federal Civil Service. The President, who also offered scholarships to the ex-corps members for the pursuit of postgraduate studies up to a doctoral level in any university in Nigeria directed the relevant government agencies to ensure timely implementation of all the incentives for the award recipients. This is as one of the beneficiaries of the automatic employment, Miss Jane Agbo, who graduated from the Federal School of Dental Technology and Therapy, Enugu but did her primary assignment at Dental Center, Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, ABUTH, Tudun Wada Zaria, said that she rendered free health care services to 2000 Almajiris and 750 elderly people during her service.
