Exploiting Workplace Safety Violations in Radio Viscera Announcement Trailer
There’s a reason for OSHA, and it’s to enforce a safe working environment regardless of the industry or its religious views. The cult in Radio Viscera has somehow escaped its gaze, though, and built a factory free from the pesky meddling laws of man. Why have a safety guard around spinning blades when simply paying attention will prevent all harm, after all? Explosives can just be left sitting anywhere because who’s going to careless enough to trigger them? It’s the kind of logic one might expect from a cult, but on the plus side it’s also easy to take advantage of when breaking into the place to free the captives and take on a leader who’s marked you for death.

Alliance Games has announced the upcoming top-down arcade shooter Radio Viscera, developed by one-man-studio Fire Face Corporation. Radio Viscera is unique in a lot of ways, not the least of which being the fact that it has no conventional firearms or projectile weapons. Players will have to use a powerful airgun and their own ingenuity to overcome the opposition.
Make no mistake, despite not having normal guns, Radio Viscera is plenty gory. The game sends players back to 1999 and tasks them with dismantling a satanic Y2K cult. They will achieve this by blasting enemies into an increasingly deadly assortment of obstacles and machines found around the game’s levels. Much of the environments of said levels are destructible, and destroying is a big part of the gameplay.
