Fines and Suspensions as reported to the USTA

This past week saw a number of harness racing trainers fined and suspended for various infractions as reported from Racing Commissions to the USTA. Samantha Dubois has been fined $1,500 and suspended for 20 days as her horse, J-S Perfect Cache was found to be positive for Dexamethazone on March 19, 2024, at Saratoga Raceway.

One year suspension, $1,000 fine for Class 1 drug

After split samples returned positive, harness racing trainer Rhonda Brewer has agreed to a one-year suspension and a fine of $1,000 for two of her horses found to have Methamphetamine in their blood system. The two horses were found to have the Class 1 drug after they competed at Miami Valley Raceway on March 19,

Trainer suspended for 400 days, fined $3,000
