good evening. on behalf of the bored of regents, the administration faculty and staff. welcome to the gubernatorial debate. it is my pleasure to moderate tonight s it debate. the production of this tee vent is a combined effort of oeta, the league of women voters of oklahoma and oklahoma state university. and now lets introduce the candidates. republican governor mary fallin and democratic state representative joe dorman. see more and more restrictions not just of coal here in the united states but around the world which means we have to get out in front of that to make sure we have the technologies to use coal cheaply and we got to be able to send those technologies to other countries that are still burning coal. because there are going to be countries like china, india, and others that still use coal for years to come. they re poor and they re building a lot of power plants quickly. they don t have as much natural gas as us. they re going to be interested in figuring out how can they use their coal supplies and how can they import our coal. but if we re doing a good job giving them technologies that allow them to burn it clean then it s a win-win for us. not only are we able to sell coal to them but also selling the technology to help them burn in the cleanest way possible. we ve been making those investments and we got to keep on making those investments in order for us to get ahead of the
