Armstrong said he hasn’t faced any racism in Israel, but rather what he called ignorance from those who question his Jewishness based on the color of his skin.
On May 17, President Joe Biden announced that he intended to appoint a number of individuals to key federal boards and commissions. Among these were ten nominees including Dr. Gary P. Zola chosen to fill seats on the United States Holocaust Memorial Council.
The nominees include a Wilmington Jewish leader that the president calls “my rabbi,” the CEO of the American Jewish Committee and a former U.S. ambassador to Spain.
